Betaject Light complain

Hello,

I’ve been using Betaferon for some time now. I was using it also with the previous package and previous Betaject. I want to know if anyone else has problems with Betaject Light. It seems that the spring inside Betaject is too tight and it really requires some strength to press it . People (like me) who are freaking out with needles even though it’s inside Betaject , are still afraid to push the button. When you think it over and have second thoughts pushing it, the button doesn’t help you. So for people with needl-o-phobia Betaject doesn’t do the trick. Personally I cannot do it. I don’t have total control of when exactly the button is pressed and I fear it like a loaded weapon aiming me. I just can’t push the button. The previous version of Betaject was smoother and less sturdy to use. Now somebody else is pressing the button for me. I would like to know if I am the only one with this issue and make a complain to the company to improve Betaject. The full Betaject (not Light) is much more responsive BUT you cannot mount the front adapter to control the depth. With my thin skin it’s veeeery painful so I tried it 2 times and it was a traumatic experience. So here I am and every second day I have to find somebody to do the injection for me, which is not very nice feeling to always depend on someone. Anyone else has similar issues???

OH I FULLY UNDERSTAND! I feel the same, every second day, i am always thinking of what im in for that evening, its bad... i think before i even inject i get so nervous that i may even make it worse!

But, my nurse has removed the spring, and it is much more comfortable, rest it on the skin and press....

Doesnt help with the terrible marks thou. : (

NO not paranoid at all!

I feel the same, like tonight, is injection night, and I am already thinking about it, this early in the morning!

The problem is, I wouldnt know who to speak to about this, its one thing designing this device, but we are the ones that actually use it, and it may LOOK like it works, but we have the prove that it doesnt!

I appreciate that people are trying to make our lives easier, but, we should have just stayed on good old faithful! Rather have a bit of pain, and bruise a little, that goes awy in a few days, then ugly red marks, that stick around for months!

I agree with all of the complaints about Betaject Lite. The spring sticks. A few times I have pulled the needle out because it takes so long to inject. It’s alot more painful now.
