After almost two years of having tests, surgery and many problem symptoms, my neurologist is still reluctant to give me a positive diagnosis of MS. I have had only one positive result for demylination on my VEP eye tests. I also have many plaques on my brain. Too many for them to have been caused by strokes, yet not typical for MS according to my neurologist. There is also something showing on my spine where i had a bulging disc removed from in the thorasic spine. The neurologist thinks that it perhaps has something to do with scaring for the surgery. My relapses and remissions are now one long relapse. I no longer have any remissions in my condition. I am now going to have the eye and nerve tests repeated. I remain very confused. I think perhaps my neuro’may still not give me a positive diagnosis. I need to know what is wrong with me ! Is anyone else having problems getting a diagnosis ?
